A cheaper alternative, but much more time consuming is to travel by bus. The bus services in London are very regular, but they tend to be bogged down at peak hours because of high traffic. If you are planning to use busses, please allow generous amounts of time to get to your destination. Buses also make a great way of sightseeing.

A slower, costlier, but more confortable way of travelling to London is using the famous black cabs which you can easily recognize and hail at all major airports and train stations.
